About Wear Orange Wednesdays
About the Business
Specialties
A campaign started on 25 April 2012 to create a tradition for the Baltimore Orioles similar to that of Purple Fridays for the Baltimore Ravens. I chose Wednesday because it is called, “Hump Day,” and I wanted to help them over the HUMP!
Our goals are to:
create a tradition, grow our economy and reduce childhood obesity. We are the #1 Fan Club for the Baltimore Orioles.

Retired from Baltimore County Public Schools, I began to learn Facebook but saw a great deal of negativity toward Mr Angelos and the Baltimore Orioles. My grandmother and aunt were both die-hards and I thought someone needed to do something — and then I knew it was me. Wasn’t sure how to start but started with how wonder the Purple Fridays campaign for the Baltimore Ravens was and if what I believed was true – the Buck Showalter and Dan Duquette were going to help build a winning, competitive team that the Orioles were going to need their own tradition and day. You see if the Orioles go into postseason play – we are overlapping with Ravens season. I then chose Wednesday because it was Hump Day and I wanted to help the O’s over the Hump!
WOW Goals
· Create tradition for all Baltimore Orioles’ fans that spreads across the USA so that fans will WEAR ORANGE not only on WEDNESDAY but when attending away games or postseason games.
